M O M E N T S .

In this series I photographed people in the moment of their orgasm.

For me photography is not about the picture you see, it´s about the process how it arises and how a content can be presented and being communicated. The centre of my series is the orgasm, but I also want to reduce the distance many people have to that topic, even though it is connecting us all as human beings.

I also want to know how a slip of paper which has just 2 dimensions is able to influence the third dimension? I just imagine that someone is looking at my pictues without knowing that this is the moment of am orgasm. Will the viewer feel what the person on the picture feels?  Can I communicate emotions and a content through pictues without you knowing what it is about? And how can the viewer expand the meaning of the pictures with his freedom of interpretation?

Another interesting aspect of my series is the ability to catch a moment without any control of body or expression from the model in front of the camera. I was searching for this moment while taking photos a very long time. Because everybody who knows that he is photographed, chance the way of moving and presenting themselfs. Everyone does, even you don´t see it directly or you are not conscious about it. But if you have an orgasm, the control is gone and the body is just following an emotional reflex. That is how the truthfulness and the authenticity is coming up, which I see seldom at photographs.
